National Photo Contest

To celebrate Canada's 150th anniversary, and to increase our social following on Facebook, I designed a national photo contest.

The contest was promoted through Facebook posts and Facebook advertising.

A random winner was chosen and awarded a prize.

Our social media following grew 20% by the end of this contest.

With a small budget we were able to achieve national reach and surpassed our goal of 18% increase in followers.

For this project, I came up with the idea, created the graphics, including merging the images of the family picnic and the digital camera, worked with the legal department on contest rules and getting approval for our contest in Quebec, chose the company that facilitated the contest, planned the Facebook advertising (split tests), tracked results, chose the prize pack and reported results to senior management.
