Shannon Ross Pounds is a visual communication-graphic design major at Sanford Brown College in Chicago. Conceptualizing loaded folds and slide panels into his work, he specializes in print media with interactive elements. Inspired early on by quirky and edgy product design, he remains deeply enthusiastic about any design that invites play. He finds a muse in all forms of media, but is particularly inspired by music, movies, and graphic novels. His design aesthetic is a marriage of literal bold themes with romantic or subtle tones. Shannon believes in design with strong messages that reward the curious and observant. His work ranges from irreverent to dark and moody but he is not afraid to explore bright and clean designs. Graduating in early 2014 he eagerly awaits an opportunity to develop experience amongst a creative team as a designer.
