About
My name is Ryan Felli, and I'm a designer who is driven to research problems, understand why they exist, and discover ways they can be solved. I've always enjoyed a good puzzle and the challenges it brings; it is how I got into the world of Industrial Design. Whether it is sketching, CAD modeling, prototyping, or creating photorealistic renderings, my goal is to visually communicate ideas that aim to solve problems and improve existing solutions. My experience comes from working on student collaborative projects with companies and freelance work.

Student Collaborative ProjectOak Creek, WISep 2017 - Dec 2017 (3 months)- 2nd place award recipient for product development in the MIAD student design competition.
- Developed a quick access pistol safe with an adaptable mounting system and a mechanism that doesn’t rely on gravity. This provides more alternative uses than competing products.
- Managed a design team that presented work to Master Lock on a weekly basis. -
Student Collaborative ProjectWest Milwaukee, WIMar 2017 - May 2017 (2 months)- Conceptualized a bedside medical cart equipped with a flexible storage system that complements modern hospital design trends.
- Researched Lakeside manufacturing methods and how it relates to viable material options that make a meaningful impact on product development. -
Student Collaborative ProjectGlendale, WIFeb 2017 - Apr 2017 (2 months)- Created a craft beer glass that redefined the capabilities of the pint glass and upheld consumer values.
- Assisted the Boelter Brands marketing team by providing numerous ideas, renderings, and models that were created through intensive research. -
Student Collaborative ProjectIndianapolis, INOct 2016 - Dec 2016 (2 months)- Developed a disruptive design pull down faucet that outperforms its competitors with a convenient storage system for sink accessories.
- Presented sketches, appearance models, and market research to the Delta Faucet design team.

- Developed a senior thesis project that was voted among top of the class by faculty and selected to be a part of the MIAD Senior Juried Exhibit.
