My professional work up until now has been centered around independent graphic design and illustration, applying my designs to everything from textiles and leather to automotive and motorcycle components and accessories.
Coupled with over 15 years teaching and nurturing young people and older people alike the knowledge and skills of driver safety, as well as more than three years in the construction, carpentry and plumbing trades, it has afforded me self sufficiency while I pursued my education in the field of industrial design.
My knowledge of production processes was enhanced through my school studies in model making, including wood, metal, plastic, and foam fabrication techniques. My prototyping abilities were further advanced through the independent fabrication and construction of numerous custom vehicles, parts and features. Over eight years of studies in industrial design, product, exhibit, and especially automotive design, have helped my development in sketching, visual communication, presentation, and computer aided design savvy. I especially excel at Adobe suites, Powerpoint, and 3-dimensional modeling divided in Form Z, Alias, with some SolidWorks and 3DS Max.
I am looking for an opportunity to embrace and evolve my career experience through working in a team-oriented learning environment . My excellent sketching skills enable quick communication of fresh ideas in a brainstorming capacity, with fine tuned interpersonal skills and an extreme passion for all phases of contemporary art and design history, with emphasis on simplicity and elegance. With an ability and a youthful attitude toward design, I possess a mature professional manner and attention to detail, and a willingness to adapt to all dynamics and approaches to the design process.
I hope that you will consider my inquiry for potential employment.
