a UK based company which imports and installs Expanded Polystyrene (EPS) moulding machinery. I initially began work in the company back in 2004 as a part time service engineer and CAD draftsman. I would create factory designs calculating quantities of equipment and materials. I would assess possible locations and identify services, access points and potential limitations. I would also assist in breakdowns either by phone/email or on site visits. I would be involved in designing tooling concepts and future product designs. As part of a team I would annually service customer's machinery and plant equipment, document the repairs and provide a report detailing the work carried out. After 4 years away gaining valuable experience of other businesses and engineering practices, I returned to the business as managing director to deal with the current and future products, but also continue to support the existing machinery and customers. The company owners were pulling away from the frontline of the company due to health reasons, but were still involved behind the scenes.

a UK based manufacturing company supplying bespoke induction motors and generators to upstream oil and gas and specialist markets including Ministry of Defense. I managed daily a small team consisting of designers, engineers, accountants, quality assurance, purchasers and after sales. I complied winning bids for large scale projects worth up to £7m pounds sterling. I managed multiple projects totaling £9.5m pounds sterling for a major engineering organization supplying high quality key equipment to the MOD. I successfully completed projects for the upstream offshore oil and gas market supplying replacement motors for compressor and pump sets.
