Rachel Proctor

I studied Furniture and Product design at Northumbria University, specialising in Furniture design. I am currently a Design Assistant/Showroom Manager at Newcastle Furniture Company.

My design style is simplistic, solving problems in the most straight forward way to make life a little easier. I like people to be able to view my work, whether that be 2D or 3D, and grasp the concept straight away. I tend to, as far as possible, keep things simple so minimal written or verbal communication is needed to explain the work.

Similarly to most people in the design field I am creative and hardworking, as well as the rest of the skills people always put on their CV, except I truly mean it. I am an excellent time keeper, good with money, I can work solo or part of a group, I have excellent time management skills, I am keen to learn new skills and work with new people, and I am of course very determined.
