Listening to The View song Street Lights made me think about where I live and the area around me. This inspired me to create a set of three line drawings showing three landmarks of Newcastle and Gateshead. My family are from the area, with a few members now living elsewhere, I was thinking of them when choosing the three landmarks, I wanted them to be immediately recognisable to my family in particular.
To further this project I would like to play around with colours, I have chosen to keep them simple black and white for now for a couple of reasons; with the colours being simple it highlights what is in the actual image, and the Newcastle United Football team play in black and white!
