After joining FSP, looked over almost all the processes for Ethnic/Indian wear designing. From scratch to finished apparel, I have done it all! My contribution to my current profile is to create a mood board for a new collection, sketching, setting the colour pallets, art work, embellishment, new embroidery technique, sourcing till the final product comes on the stand. Handling all the VIP client orders and heavy request orders are my additional responsibilities.

Visited Linen Craft Unit, Bangalore for Heimtextile-17 sampling and managed end to end process between cross location teams. Heimtextile -2017, Created innovative prints, woven, jacquards and embroideries in yardages collection for exhibition. Seasonal collections-2016, Exceptional performance in various shows:- IMC Exhibition, Pause For Cause, Ruchika, Petals etc. Handled end to end merchandising and sampling process for renowned New York buyer “ATOLYA”. Designed brochures, advertising and marketing content for the label Linen and linens in Adobe Photoshop. Developing power point presentation of In-house garments and scarves for export buyers, updating cost sheet of new garment samples and production sheet follow ups in open office excel. Mentored interns from NIFT, Mumbai.

Junior Ethnic Wear Designer

Made sketches, embroidery swatches with different techniques, trims and materials. Studied fashion trends and anticipated designs that will appeal to consumers. Visited manufacturers and outlets to source fabrics, trims and accessories samples. Prepared design sheet using manual and graphical effects. Prepared sketches, which were selected for Jabong fashion week. Participated in Pune fashion week(PFW).

Assistant Designer

4 months Industrial Internship in Radnik Exports in designing department (New Delhi). Designed samples for prestigious buyers like H&M, Bik-Bok, Cubus, Promod, Zara, Vero Moda, Best Seller etc., by understanding mood boards of the buyers. Studied and understood the process involved during the manufacturing of a garment from the raw fabric to the finished good. Learned about different woven and knitted fabrics. Project on embroidery techniques(swatch collection). Reported to Ranjit Mandal (in case of reference).
