I recently moved to Chicago, IL where I co-founded and continue to operate a small design firm (Full Fathom) with a fellow SCAD Alumni.
A Georgia native, I have been involved with Savannah’s art scene for nearly 20 years, attending and participating in a city market studio before the age of ten. I was immediately drawn towards SCAD due to its reputation and overwhelming creative presence in Savannah and began the architecture program directly following high school, and soon thereafter expanding my field of studies to include and ultimately concentrate on industrial design. My passion for fitness and athletics has helped me excel in human factors, ergonomics, and anthropometry as well as design management. I am long time admirer of Bauhaus and functional minimalism, and I aim for functional elegance within simplicity in my designs.
The architect and engineering side of me is precise and form always follows function and the artist in me is determined to shape the world around me into something beautiful. I respect the lasting effect that good design has on an individuals life, the importance of it does not end at aesthetics.
Specialties: anthropometry, ergonomics, design strategy, research and analysis.
