CalOptima Report to the Community 2010

Flagship printed annual piece for CalOptima. The 2010 Report to the Community was the first time I had worked on this particular piece for the organization. I sought to expand the brand and presentation with large typefaces and asymmetrical layout, as well as making it easier to read for the older readers and members. USing tonal variations of the corporate brand and palette allowed for some interesting layouts along with full page color picture spreads and focused copy of facing pages. I was responsible for concepting layout from sketches to completion for a large printing and mailing fulfillment. Reception was very positive and set the stage for the preceding years RTC.
