Paul Sandip is a critically acclaimed Indian Industrial designer, three times TEDx speaker, winner of the prestigious Red Dot Design Award twice and recipient of the "Designpreneur" title from Shri Narendra Modi. He has designed over 700+ products for his clients worldwide.
Paul re-defines everyday objects to create innovative and iconic best selling products. His designs are led by user centric innovation and refined sense of style. The GM Bulb holder #designedbypaul in 2004 is estimated to have sold over 5400 million pieces...and still counting! Paul had also been actively involved in New Product Developments at LG Electronics, India & Seoul for nearly a decade where he led experimental, hence “First in India” kind of projects.
Paul has won over 34 design awards including the LiteOn Merit Award from President of Taiwan Mr.Ma Ying-jeou in 2010, Japanese Eyewear Design Opus Award 2006 & 2009, Elle Decor 2011 Young Talent Award and was a Finalist at 2009 Index Award, Denmark. His works and thoughts have been extensively published by major design and business magazines, aired by radio/tv and exhibited internationally including the Triennale Museum in Milan, Ambiente Fair in Frankfurt, Red Dot Award Show in Singapore, Avenue of Stars Hong Kong, Lite-On Awards Show in Taiwan, Index Design Exhibition in Denmark, Thailand International Furniture Fair in Bangkok, Design Korea Exhibition, Design Olympiad in Seoul, Alliance Francaise in Delhi and several other exhibitions. Paul's work is held in permanent collections of Danish Design Museum, Copenhagen since 2009, as an example of Design to improve life!
Paul Sandip is a notable alumni of the prestigious National Institute of Design (NID) Ahmedabad, Jury of the India Design Mark, mentor for Dell Designathon and an active Keynote Speaker on Design Thinking at various events organized by Premiere Design Institutes, IIT's, MSME's and Govt. of India establishments. He has been invited by Apollo Munich, Infosys, Hewlett-Packard, and Dell amongst many others to share his unique Design Thinking process of Innovation by Observation. In 2019 Paul was selected to represent Industrial Design at the India-Italy Tech Leadership Roundtable in the august presence of His Excellency Mr. Giuseppe Conte the Prime Minister of Italy and Shri Narendra Modi the Prime Minister of India.
