In 2018, I was a social media manager for About Thyme Restaurant, a fine dining restaurant in one of Nairobi's suburbs.
My principal duty was to provide copywriting, social media marketing and community management services to the client. This involved curating captivating social media captions, placing & monitoring social ads, deploying promotional emails and responding to comments & messages.
Also, I assembled digital advertising reports by analyzing metrics from social media platforms' insights of organic and paid campaigns to improve the performance of subsequent campaigns.
This resulted in a boost of the client's engagement rate to 3% and online audience growing by 20% hence enhancing brand awareness.
