Graphic Designer, Layout Artist
Boaz, KY
Nov 2016 - Present (8 years 1 month)
As a Graphic Designer and Layout Artist, I primarily designed and created K-9 related training articles for both magazines. I also created advertisements for companies that wanted to advertise in these publications, but did not have the skills to create them on their own. Occasionally I was asked to design stickers for my boss's other two K-9 companies, which are Elite K-9, Inc. and K-9 BSD. Responsibilities: * Design and create magazine articles and advertisements using Adobe InDesign and Photoshop * Create designs for t-shirts, coozies, ink pens, lanyards, challenge coins, postcards, conference signs, and stickers using Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator * Maintained both magazines' websites using Wordpress Orion

Supervisor
United Parcel Service
Clarksville, IN
Aug 2013 - Nov 2016 (3 years 3 months)
As an Orion Supervisor, my primary job was to keep the roads and addresses up to date and accurate on UPS's proprietary GPS navigation mapping software. By properly maintaining this software and saving all the transmitted GPS data from each delivery truck on a daily basis, it is able to use its complex algorithms to find the fastest way to run a delivery route using the least amount of hours and mileage. In time, this GPS navigation technology will save UPS millions of dollars by reducing the amount of time it takes a delivery driver to complete a route and by reducing the number of miles driven which reduces fuel and oil consumption on a daily basis. Responsibilities: * Maintained accurate satellite imagery road maps for proprietary delivery GPS navigation software * Researched new addresses on GIS databases and placed accurate addresses on the map at their proper coordinates * Properly labeled and created roads such as interstates, highways, local roads, and driveways * Added speed limits, stop signs, stop lights, turn restrictions, one-way streets, and barriers where needed * Ran software that used complex algorithms to calculate the best possible way to run a delivery route * Compiled daily performance data from previous day's work into reports and emailed reports to multiple superiors for their daily conference call meetings 2D/3D Lead Animator, 3D Modeler, Level Designer, Web Designer
