Michal Napierzynski

My name is Michal. I'm filmmaker/editor/motion designer/digital designer/photographer living in London. My background is in photography, graphic and web design. Four years ago I drifted in direction of moviemaking (directing/cinematography/SFX/editing/motion design). My experience is mainly in documentary and corporate.

Skills and experience:

- I directed few documentary projects.

- Cinematography using mainly DSLRs. My background is in photography so I have extensive knowledge of lighting.

- Experience in sound recording. Sound edition using Adobe Soundbooth and Audition.

- Some practical SFX skills including green screen.

- Editing mainly with Adobe Premiere Pro. I did few small projects with Avid. If there is a need can learn Final Cut easily. Knowledge of formats, codecs, file conversion/compression and file delivery systems (FTP). Colour grading skills. DVD and Blu-rey authoring with Adobe Encore.

- Motion graphics skills using Adobe After Effects.

- Excellent knowledge of Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator. Experience in Adobe InDesign.

My equipment:

Canon 5D mark II, 28-75 lens, 85 mm portrait lens, 500 mm mirror lens, tripod Manfrotto MPRO 535 with 504HD Manfrotto Head, batteries and cards for one full day shoot. Sennheiser wireless ew 100 G3 mics and ZOOM H4N for pro sound recordings. 2 LED battery powered panel lights (for interviews). Second HD camera SONY HDR-XR520 with tripod. Editing suite based on Windows platform.
