Recent graduate from the University of Minnesota Twin Cities, with a Bachelor's of Science in Architecture. I'm interested in residential design, both single family and multi-family. But I'm open to all aspects of architecture, from design to science. I've been involved with architecture since my junior year of high school, with my first experience being ACE (Architecture, Construction, & Engineering), a design competition where high schools around the Twin Cities compete against each other every year.
Last year, I was a part of the winning team in the U.S. Department of Energy's Solar Decathlon. My club, the NorthStar Building Science Club, sent two teams to the final presentation at the National Renewable Energy Laboratory (NREL) in Golden, Colorado. The team that I was on, Philips Regen, managed to win both the division of Attached Housing and the Grand Residential prize. While our second team, NorthStar Healthy Homes, were able to win second in their division of New Construciton.
And for almost the past two years, I've been working at Silvercocoon as a drafting intern. I mostly work in Revit, both modeling and detailing designs. I've been on site visits and surveys. I've met with clients to talk about what their ideal dream is for their project. And during this time, I've worked on various projects from property redesigning, to cabin design, and ADU's.
