* Report directly to Director of Design for direction of concept groups, SKU plan and shopped samples
* Sketch bodies, initiate technical packages and oversee sampling for all sweater development
* Contribute market research of competitors and higher price point brands to drive trend & "reach" items
* Attend sales recaps and identify items at peak and determine opportunities for continued exposure
* Present concept bodies based on planned assortment directive (% core/heritage current reach/fashion)
* Communicate daily with overseas factories (China & India) & NYC factory reps for R&D
* Create CADs for sales teams and create graphic presentations for off-site buys & private label
* Issue design approval for production cuts/orders on all "fast-track" sweaters and developed styles
* Issue color comments & final approval on all development lab dips and select production for owned brands
* Work with Tom Cody Print rep to develop prints, give comments, & execute colorways (positions/pitching)
* Responsible for maintaining color, print, yarn quality library, and updating linesheets
* Create labels and branding for exclusive capsule projects
* Create graphic & branding for corporate events and corporate-sponsored charity events
* Oversaw acquisition of software upgrade and organized design staff training
* Organizing corporate materials recycling program
