April Fools joke gone wrong/right..
Jesse, the owner's son, calls me and says he wants to play a joke on his dad. We draw up this pretty ridiculous car and then he posts it to their facebook and media outlets claiming that it is their next car. His dad Jim has to log on and find the thing with a million comments on it and deal with the aftermath! Cool thing is people actually liked it so now its an official offering as a kit car.
Some good calls from Jesse with the design, my first idea had a big roof rack on top, not quite tough enough looking. Armada Engineering and Podium engineering have teamed up to advise the technical elements of the deign, create the tubular chassis design and everything mechanical, as well as fabricate everything while I got to stay involved and push for some aesthetic goals.
