Concept Stacking Chair
The following project was an independent study of the aesthetics of geometry. What I love about math in art and design is that algorithms balance the free spirit and endless possibilities of the creative solutions with formulas resulting in a finite answer. Its a way to take creative liberty with math to create an object that is elegant on many levels. The true challenge was combining appropriate ergonomics with the aesthetic proportions of the golden rectangle.
