Milan Chambard

Young artist interested in character design, illustration, animation, and telling a good story. My work is about creating and sharing worlds. To do so, I rely on a multi-step process and various media and techniques. First, I draw on my imagination and past influences, creating concept art. Influence comes from history and mythology. More realistic inspirations include nature (specifically animal biology), geography, and scientific and medical illustration. Following that, I develop technical drawings and build models, which help bring the concepts to life. Finally, these models are used for storytelling in animated films. Milan is currently a senior at the High School of Art and Design in New York City.
