Maps have fascinated me since I was a little girl. I have carried that enthusiasm with me all these years and have definitely found my love in creating maps. Even though boundaries are defined, there is much creativity and thought that goes into creating the perfect map-to the colors used and the best type placement to the research involved in making them accurate.
I have a geography degree and 25+ years of experience working as a cartographer in a professional setting. I have a thorough knowledge of Adobe CC and have done hundreds of maps for textbook publishers, travel guides, magazines and individual authors. You can find my maps in textbooks for Mc Graw-Hill, Prentice Hall, Bedford/St. Martin's, and National Geographic to name a few and travel guides such as Rick Steves' Europe, Countryman Press and Fodor's .
I have the research materials, the cartographic bases, and the knowledge to get your job done quickly and correctly!
