Driven Industrial Designer with 10+ years' experience in Asia, the US & Europe working on a wide range of product portfolios including consumer electronics, audio, accessories, domestic appliances, telecoms, soft goods & lighting.
Strong communication skills & a drive for constantly challenging myself has given me the opportunity to work & develop with a range of very talented teams & individuals. Highly motivated & a consummate team player I have a passion for exploring new possibilities and pushing the boundaries, whether it be in material exploration, technology or in the use of new tools and processes.
I'm very interested in cross-discipline product development, design storytelling & the future of mass production.

Senior Industrial DesignerPhilips DesignHong Kong, Hong KongFeb 2008 - Feb 2011 (3 years)My senior designer role involved specializing within a specific portfolio of products in order to understand & influence more on a range logic or category build-up level opposed to singular propositions. For this I moved to the Peripherals & Accessories account dealing primarily with the headphone range. This role later encompassed PC Accessories including PC speakers, Input devices & Soft goods.
As a junior designer here I worked initially for DAP (Domestic appliances) & Lighting involving fluidity support between Hong Kong, Singapore & the european offices in Amsterdam & Eindhoven. During this period I worked on numerous kitchen appliances, garment care products and worked within a team to set the direction & design language of the future MasterLED range of products for professional & consumer lighting. -
