Interactive Product Design Intern
Amsterdam, NH
Apr 2019 - Aug 2019 (4 months)
During my four months I worked on NBANK, a project to educate young children in finance. I successfully executed user research, conceptualisation, design and prototyping as an integrated part of the project team. I learnt a new 3D modelling software, Fusion 360, to a high level, as well as participating in design sprints. All of which helped to widen my skill set whilst gaining valuable experience.
• Displayed ability to learn new skills (Fusion 360) from scratch with an interest and passion
• Learnt new design techniques and methods including team Hackathons (Design sprints)
• Use of 3D printing to create fast, low-fidelity models to aid with the communication of my propositions
• Conducted primary user research with focus groups across a language barrier
• Enhanced my presentation skills through pitching ideas to my Creative Director and team

• Adapted my design process to be more considerate of manufacturing costs
• Worked with the design team based in London, communicating ideas effectively with video conferencing
• Actively involved in the preparation for Clerkenwell Design Week 2018.
• Developed my client communication skills while hosting at Clerkenwell Design Week
• Learnt the basic of Square Space to support improvement of the website appearance, branding and UX
