Lilyana Bekic is an artist, metalsmith, and milliner based in Chicago, IL. She is a nationally exhibited metal, jewelry & fiber artist. Her work has been published in several books & magazines including Ornament and San Diego Home/Garden & Lifestyles magazine. Lilyana has worked in jewelry manufacturing as a Sr Mold & Model Maker prior to entering academia where she taught a variety college level art classes ranging from jewelry/metalsmithing, drawing, three-dimensional design, fibers, design in crafts, and art for elementary school teachers. She currently works as a design patent examiner at the USPTO. Her interests include art, apparel/accessories design & development, model making, academia, and intellectual property.
