Lauren Eicher

My name is Lauren Eicher and I am a graduate from the Art Institute of Pittsburgh with a Bachelors in Industrial Design, specializing in soft goods.

I have a passion for soft goods design and development, creating custom patterns and sewing physical samples on inustrial machines. I enjoy seeing a project from start to finish, from the first sample to seeing it come off the manufacturing line. Sewing is a interest Ive had for most of my life, from the fashion of runways, to finding patterns to create my own clothes and gear, Ive loved it since I was a girl.

I do enjoy taking a clients design and either creating a 3D model, realistic rendering, or a physical final creation for them. Working with clients always excites seeing what interesting ideas they come up with and how I can try and make those happen no matter what boundaries I might have.

I also have a soft spot for sporting goods design being an active person myself, running, biking and kayaking. I also enjoy other fiber arts such as knitting, spinning, and needlepoint.
