Artistically confident, stylistically curious, and professionally driven are my most defining characteristics. I was born and raised in Canada, but moved to the quaint suburb of Hudson, Ohio for the greater part of my middle school and high school years. Despite my passion for the arts, after high school I pursued a bachelors of science in Business Economics at Miami University to understand global markets and to make sound business decisions. The Farmer School of Business allowed me to acquire professional and organizational skills, which prepared me for customer and employee interaction. Outside of the classroom I was an active member of the Alpha Chi Omega sorority, Delta Sigma Pi business fraternity, and the club gymnastics team.
Upon graduation I left for FIDM in sunny Los Angeles to quench my thirst for interior design, where I received my Professional Degree in Interior Design. The FIDM experience and rigorous curriculum armed me several invaluable tools. Creating presentation boards, communicating with other designers, and utilizing CAD transformed me into a fundamentally stronger and more creative interior designer.
