About
I am an artist working out of Naperville, Illinois. My artistic interests include photography, illustration, and photo retouching and manipulation, but I am constantly expanding my knowledge of other techniques, concepts, and mediums.
My experience in photography includes both digital and print photography. I have worked extensively with wedding photography, corporate head shots, preschool portraits, senior portraits, engagement photos, product photography, and fine art photography.
As well as working behind the lens, I have a passion for photo retouching. My skills range from retouching minor blemishes to major photo manipulation. I am continuously searching for new applications and techniques to broaden my retouching abilities.
Besides my interest in photography, I enjoy working in illustration. I work extensively on both Macintosh and Windows platforms. I am proficient with several applications including Adobe Creative Suite.
I have both a Bachelor of Arts in Studio Art and a Bachelor of Arts in Anthropology and Sociology from Knox College. In the past few years I have worked as a Photographer's Assistant at a successful photography studio, worked as a freelance photo retoucher and a freelance designer for several local photographer's, and worked on my own as a freelance photographer.
