My career started at Angels the costumiers in London, designing and coordinating footwear for various film, Television and Theatrical productions world-wide. Making one off pieces or fitting footwear for Kenneth Branagh were just normal days at the office.
I moved to the small british iconic brand Start-Rite, working across childrens footwear categories, It was there I developed a love for last shapes, constructions, materials and details.
My passion for creating innovtive chrildrens footwear lead me to move to a role at the Global brand Clarks, it was there that I gained the foundations of my expertise, and craftmanship from last making and product design developments to fittings, and sample approval.
My love for travel let me to Kmart Australia, where I progressed to leading and managing the design teams with in footwear and accessories, setting the strategic direction and trend forcasting for the season. developing the macro trends, key items, colour and material pallets, while overseeing the product developments and ranges.
Footwear design has opened many doors and I have been fortunate enough to collaborate and work with some of the biggest names in the industry.
I am currently senior footwear designer consultant at Strickland Studio where I am responsible for managing trend content and designing and developing product for clients around the globe.
