Katya Revenko is a fashion director and designer who brings irresistible ideas to life. She’s an industry leader with expertise in market research, strategic planning, design and sampling.
Katya honed her business and artistic acumen as lead designer of her own label, Desperately Different. She collaborates with innovators around the world, helping them take advantage of emerging trends and fresh ideas in North American and European markets.
Known for her keen eye and strong instincts, Katya also has a deep understanding of garment engineering, construction and the industry’s industrial equipment. As a result of her experience in costuming for stage productions and other media, she also brings a knack for working with versatile and varied materials including:

She also appeared on Fashion Television and Breakfast Television in Canada. She’s dressed a number of emerging artists and celebrities.
The tailor-made techniques, couture finishes and eye catching styling of her ready-to-wear collection helped her win the ELLE Canada Toronto Fashion Incubator New Labels® Fashion Design Competition. Not one to be satisfied with past success, Katya is always observing the ever-evolving sartorial styles in major cities. She travels extensively, which gives her an international perspective that helps her forecast trends and shifts in fashion.
When Katya isn’t dreaming of unique ways to create and drive brand value, you’ll find her snowboarding or getting lost in the beauty she finds in antique stores and flea markets. She shares her life with her husband, two children and a Siberian Husky.
