I come from an artistic family and have been an active artist since I could grab a pencil. I spent many years painting murals and window ads before I was picked up by Ethan Wade Graphics. It was there were I started my real artistic journey. I was mentored by the Art Director, and learned a lot from this amazing man. After being in design for apparel and large format printing, I was maxing out on pay and not making a great living. I decided to go back to school at 41 and get my BAS in Animation and Visual Effects. I am now mentored my a couple gentlemen from Pixar and do some work for them on their side companies.
I am a fast learner and true team player. Brainstorming is one of my favorite things, especially when I get to do it with a room full of talented designers. I live to create.
I won several art contests in my younger days, including a billboard for 106 KMEL for the Bay Bridge. I got my first short film credit my Junior year of college, then graduated Salutatorian, and was only the fourth person in the history of the college to receive the Outstanding Service Award. I also had honorable mention for my work as a mentor and involvement with the Alumni Association.
