YesJess
Apr 2009 - Present (15 years 7 months)
As owner & creative director of YesJess Knits, I manage the artistic & commercial aspects of the business. I maintain relations with local & international vendors, design print & web graphics, handle marketing, maintain an online presence & create new products with the changing seasons. YesJess requires that I be a self driven and efficient worker in order to simultaneously focus on short term & long term deadlines. Additionally, my role as designer requires that I quickly pick up new skills & that I am constantly feeding & developing a creative mind set.

Design Intern
BBG-BBGM

Using Revit, myself and a team of designers created, corrected & adapted construction documents for a resort and condominium tower. We worked under tight deadlines, rapidly changing schemes, & coordinated with engineers on the construction site in Montenegro.

Design Intern
Aedas
Mar 2008 - Jun 2008 (3 months)
At this office, we developed conceptual designs and site plans for schools, hospitals & government buildings. Our team worked to analyse clients design objectives, discuss different approaches to the project & ultimately create design schemes that are both functional & striking. I composed booklets/portfolios/presentations to introduce our proposals to the clients. The booklets contained information on costs, site planning, design & logistics.

Design Intern
NBBJ
Jun 2007 - Sep 2007 (3 months)
While working at NBBJ, I was involved in multiple stages of design development in several projects. I aided in construction administration: reviewing specifications, approving materials, & resolving on site construction queries. I also assisted in developing schematic & spatial interior spaces. Spent time with a team to prepare a submission for an international design competition. We worked to efficiently, clearly & pleasingly layout the text & images onto the limited number of pages the competition required.
