Jeffrey Botticello

I am a senior mechanical engineering student at the Rochester Institute of Technology who is searching for a full time mechanical engineering position starting in the summer of 2018. I am interested in a position that offers a fast pace, and challenges me with diverse problems relating to design, modeling, and testing.

My passions include sustainable energy generation as well as smart and efficient energy use. To this end, I have worked with RIT's Electric Vehicle Team to design an build a competition electric motorcycle. My current role is as the Lead Integration Engineer for the team, where I guide the development and implementation of electronics enclosures, as well as the documentation and execution of wiring for the bike. I am also engaged in a senior design project for the team, where I am leading the thermal development of an actively cooled battery pack for use in a future motorcycle to compete in the Pikes Peak International Hill Climb.
