My name is Jacob Chaput, and I studied Fashion at the Savannah College of Art and Design. I've designed pretty much all of my life (much has improved in 20 years). I was taught to hand-sew around age 12, but it wasn't until 2006 that I was trained on machines. As a result, my body of work showcases the human element, regularly employing draping or embellishing done by hand.
In the end, though, it boils down to this: I enjoy making clothes that make people look and feel beautiful.
