As the first to hold the position of Executive Producer of Social Media and Short Film, I strive to identify creative student content that best reflects our various publications to create a cohesive demonstration of all the multiple mediums our program has to offer.
Previously, our page was a collection of memories and student collages showcasing behind-the-scenes moments in Broadcasting students' lives. With my guidance, our platform has transformed into a cohesive gallery of fresh content in which students can indulge but still receive a proper helping of important school and community announcements. With the growth of our online presence, contributing to the Short Film publication in building diverse minds for film has been a significant achievement for the expansion of our publication. Short Film's goal was to establish a hierarchy that would prioritize quality productions and expand its boundaries into developing future industry leaders.
Throughout my seven years at Miami Arts Studio 6-12 @ Zelda Glazer, I have spent three running our schools' yearbook publication, The Enchanted, as Editor-in-Chief. Climbing up from my managing editor position, I now oversee all our sectors and staff to establish moments that students, faculty, and families look forward to reading through. Our yearbook houses everything from school events to personal profiles on exceptional individuals, showcasing a myriad of creativity and individuality across our campus. I encourage our staff and row of editors to express their innovation artistically through our book, which has led to many awards and recognitions.
My presence in our collaborative classroom allows for an example of good communication, effort, and hard work for our persevering staff, especially in such a conflictive year like this one. With my guidance and constructive criticism, our Social Media, Short Film, and Yearbook publications have grown to cultivate talent have become an example of my leadership within them.
I would be honored to be considered as a recipient of the Multi-media Journalist of the Year.
