I studied under some of the brightest economics professors that, in my eyes, have allowed me to see not only the (necessary) logical side of economics on both the micro and macro levels, but also have empowered me to think of the economy as being full of individuals with actual emotions. Economists oftentimes pigeonhole the masses into set groups who will act in accordance to human nature as it relates to monetary issues - the sociological laws holding the very foundation of economics together - however, there are always anomalies and it is important to recognize this in the grand scheme of things. Not everything economists predict come to fruition, as we can clearly see today more than ever. I attribute my mindset of "thinking outside-the-box" to Dr. John Pomery, a truly brilliant individual, professor, and mentor.
