About
Previously I worked many years in indusial construction before attending Frank Phillips Collage in Borger Texas. After graduating with my Associates degree I moved to Los Angles to attend Otis Collage of art and design.
At Otis you began your carrier the moment you enter your Major. I entered the toy department a lifelong dream of mine to become a Toy designer. The staff is the best in the business. Every project at Otis was given industry critiques, and real world limitations and fesability. You are trained to think of issues of safty, cost, material, marketability and more.
Otis offers many different opportunity’s with toy companies; I worked with Disney/ Pixar consumer products in sponsorship for products in existing and upcoming properties. Other opportunities include customize a Tron Light Cycle art show with Spin Master, and a Memorial for the nation of Palau.
My Goals;
I would like to be part of a creative team with whom I will be able to lend my unique ideas and talents to create some truly fun and innovative products! -

product designer internLanard Toys2010 - 2012 (2 years)As an intern at Lanard toys I was taught critical thinking and, how to better the designs for full production. With the supervision of Blake Nichols I was given great instruction. I was given full responsibility of design for multiple projects starting with brain storming, concept, rough design sketches to full design drawing, I also did control drawings, paint specs, modeling, consulted with Hong Kong, light 3-d modeling. A few of the products are the Paddle Pong set, The Corps, Jump Hoppers. I also assisted fellow designers with their projects.I returned to work with Lanard again in 2012 great toy company.

product designerHot buttered elves2009 - 2010 (1 year)In 2009 I began my internship with Hot Buttered Elves. While working with their talented staff I was able to improve upon my 3D modeling skills and to be more efficient with my time. The process of being involved with the product from initial idea to the market place was rewarding and fun. I conceptualized pitched ideas, did prototype trouble shooting, painting, sculpting and designed tradeshow booths. Some of the products and brands worked on are Zooables, Barbie, How to Train your Dragon, Cars, Disney Fairies, Toy Story 3 and Wallables. Since my intern I’ve done freelance for Hot Buttered Elves.
