When I saw these nuns appear as I was sitting before a beautiful blue waterfall. I thought have they come for me now? or am I dreaming..
They were three woman from the monastry of San cristobal de las casas, Chiapas. A American, Indian and Haitian woman. When I asked them why they had come. They simply said that they were visiting god at the waterfalls of Chiflon.
When they ask me if I would photograph them because they forgot their camera I thought perfect!! I have to capture this moment or no one would believe me.
El Chiflon the Whistle waterfall, climbing the side of this mountain path every climb gives way to another view, revealing the intensity of the waterfall step by step.
As you arrive to the top ..km later
the waterfall bathes you, where you stand on a wooden platform with the valley of falling water and mist with rainbows surrounding you.
This is truly a place of god.
