Since childhood, I loved to assemble and disassemble products, which I used to find in my dad's garage. I was amazed by the amount of parts every product has, and even more amazed by the fact that each and every part is matching to another part in order to create the final product. me and products was love at first sight.
At 2001 I started my B.des studies at Holon Institute of Technology, and got my bachelor degree at 2005. few years later I was honored to come back as a lecturer to HIT.
Over the years my love and enthusiasm for creating products got refined, extended and sharpened. I had the opportunity to design for many international companies, such as: Disney, Coca-Cola, Kalashnikov, Stratasys and Flex, but also for many startups and private entrepreneurs.
I really love designing products. for me, every product that I'm designing is like a child of mine. the design process is like a "mind pregnancy" process, including fear, curiosity and the feeling that something great is going to happen, and at the end of the process, there is nothing more satisfying than seeing the product brought to life and begins its experience in its new world.
Many times, during my product design process, I feel a deep empathy, as if I am the product. being the product means knowing what the product needs, feels and even thinks.
After gaining vast experience with designing more than 200 products for various local and international consumer products companies, I expanded my perspective regarding products, and began looking for the bigger picture, what brought me to my master degree studies (M.des) at Bezalel academy of Arts and Design, where I'm currently expending my knowledge and practice in design thinking, design strategies, design management, trends, user experience and more.
