• Designed both internal and external visual art for Birkenhead Sixth
Form College and The Birkenhead Park School.
• Liased with staff from different teaching departments when
necessary to discuss upcoming events and any designs that need to
be generated.
• Occasionally updated the College and High School websites to
advertise news and events.
• Updated & designed images for the social media feed for both
establishments. Along with updating the social media posts.

• Designing advertisements for placement within one of three current
magazines, based around what size advertisement the customer has
requested.
• Communicated with the customer on any amendments that they
required be done to the advert.
• Adverts range from 1/4 of a page to a full page and must generally be
completed within a 20 to 30 minute time frame of the order being
placed and then sent to the customer along with their paperwork.

• Responsible for coordinating and motivating the team.
• Visual Merchandising whilst reporting changes to Town Manager and areas Visual Merchandising Manager.
• Training in all areas of management within the store including cashing up, admin and distributing staff orders.
• Responsible to make sure the store hits it's required targets each and every day, in regards to targets for separate items and the total store takings.
• Resolving customer issues .

• Working in a target driven environment, at the heart of a retail store, welcoming customers and asking questions about their needs then satisfying those needs.
• Operating the till and accurately handling cash, cheques and credit / debit card payments.
• Approaching customers and politely asking questions to understand their needs.
• Keeping the shop and displays clean and tidy at all times.
• Receiving deliveries, unpacking and re-shelving or storing stock.
• Involved in regular stock checks and stock takes.
• Being vigilant at all times and to help minimise stock loss through theft, loss or damage.
• Managing H&S throughout the store, managing all H&S duties assigned.

• Consulting with head designer within the company and
gaining feedback on my design development.
• Designed poster for an annual "Summer Reads" event
and a book cover for a book titled “Harvest”.
• Went through numerous development stages and
project planning until finalising design for both projects.
