My main job duty is vectoring logos and artwork for the sales team to be used for screen printing, pad pressed, etching, heat seals, and any other medium for print. Along with vectoring is digitizing logos, artwork, and names for embroidery on shirts, jackets, hats, bags, and custom pieces. I mainly do advertisements for the company (Alaska Textiles) and sub-company (Korbana Protective Apparel). I collaborate with the marketing department about the style and message that the company wants to portray. I do make up on models, dress models, take photographs, photoshop, illustrator and place artwork on the template. Once the design is approved, I order the banner, tablecloths, prints, backdrops, catalog, tri-folds, pop-up banners and other exhibit displays that are needed. Once in a while, I look for quotes and work with the print companies to insure everything is looking its best and at the best price. Every now and again, I work directly with customers to bounce ideas about a new logo and/or product for their existing company or a new company.

I help customers achieve the designs they would like to paint onto their bisque items by pouring glaze, printing images, and gathering up the tools needed for a technique. The customers are welcome to paint in the open studio or take one of the many classes I teach. There are two types of class: one for the kiddos and one for adults. My co-workers and I set up snacks, drinks, and craft projects for those classes. On occasion, I paint pieces for donations in the local area for fundraisers for schools, companies, and non-profits. Once the bisque is painted it is then glazed and loaded into the kiln. Overall provide customer services and cashiering.
