Women's Wear (Woven's, Knits & Sweaters): Development & Production Communicate daily with factories overseas in China, Communicate daily with buyers for various retailers: Cracker Barrel, Dillard's, Dia & Co., Winner's, TJX, Sears, Ross, Macy's, Von Maur, Beall's, and Kmart. Frequently using different labels such as Fashion Alchemy, Alchemy Thread, Alkamy, and Alchemation for various retailers. Sketching CAD, create fit tech packs, construction detail, create grade rules & follows various retailers grading, conduct fittings, submitting comments to factories, following up on status for every style to make sure sample due dates are met, following up with daily outstanding routines, checking TOP's for bulk shipment. Work closely with design department and in house textile print artist to check on border placements for production. Update WIP Report, work with retailer on price ticket approvals, carton marking approvals, send trim/lab dip/ bulk fabric approvals to factory create BOM tech packs for each new style and submit to factory contractor with detailed print fabric supplier, correct artwork code for prints, correct trim supplier, correct pantone colors for lab dips for trims and fabric and check weight of fabrics on market samples for BOM records to compare to bulk submits for approval.
