Hobbies to me are more than just a pastime; they are an important outlet and tool for learning and growth. Promoting positive experiences for children and adults, a hobby can teach important life lessons and be a bonding force. I have seen this with my over ten years of volunteer experience with Campfire USA, my role at Imagination Toys, Fire and Sword, Games-Workshop, and the YMCA. Though my past experiences have been deeply rewarding I came to a place where I felt my potential had plateaued and I was being held back from developing my skills. This led me back to school to continue my education at the Art Institute of Seattle. As I near the end of my Industrial design program I seek new employment opportunities where I can benefit from the youthful creative spirit that inspires me, but can also can still teach me.
