Eastern Illinois University - Work on the exterior envelope of this project was interesting because of the different structures from different eras we were building around- a turn of the century load bearing rusticated masonry and a 1968 steel frame building. The new atrium spans across these two, providing an enclosed link. A ground level arcade in the 1968 building was filled in. The new addition is narrow and provides a new facade to the main quad.
