· Developing products from concept to factory production while keeping within budgets and timelines.
· Identifying suitable manufacturing partners, sourcing components.
· Sketch ideas or create renderings, by providing a visual design idea.
· Develop virtual models for tools, equipment, material required for our new products.
· Create FEA as needed to evaluate defflection and thermal management
· Produce and maintain product design documentation for procurement, manufacturing, and technical documentation.
· Create prototypes of the proposal designs which involves work in collaboration with different internal teams
· Work with other specialist, such as Mechanical Engineers and Manufacturers, to evaluate whether design concepts will fill need
at a reasonable cost.
· Evaluate product safety, appearance, and function to determine if a design is practical.
· Present designs and demonstrate prototypes to the internal clients for approval.
· Managing the design of process fixtures and tooling in collaboration with Operation team.
· Evaluating engineering designs and engineering changes for manufacturability and cost impacts.
· Providing training and mentoring of operators on processes and procedures
