The organization is called ROICH: Roanoke valley Organization for Improvement of the Haitian Community. The organization is based in Orlando, FL. I accepted the project as pro-bono work and completed it in about 28-30 work hours over the course of 2 weeks. I used the prominent colors also used in the initial design they sent to me: orange, blue, white, and red; with some yellow. For the inside portion of the brochure I incorporated the red, blue, and white for the border, mimicking the Haitian flag. The requester and president of the organization was pleased with my designs. All the posters and flyers I designed for various student events at FIU Biscayne Bay Campus, as well as, promotional items from working with professional companies/organizations. Most of which are promoting a specific event or service. Organizations that have benefited from said designs include: FIU Campus Life & Orientation, Local Perfection SEO of Hollywood, Union Restoration, and ROICH. These designs demonstrate skills in composition, logo design, brochure design, and typography.
