I am a Wardrobe Stylist, Personal Shopper and Creative Consultant with over 10 years experience in the fashion industry. Most people would tell you that I have loved fashion since the day I was born. At the age of 10 I was telling my parents that I was going to be the a designer, a stylist to the stars, the next host of "What Not to Wear" or even own my own mall, I was a kid with big dreams. Growing up in the small town of Brantford, ON, lets just say my fashion choices may have been a bit over the top for a hockey town.
My friends will tell you that I am almost always over dressed for any occasion. That they have never seen me in a pair of sweatpants and that my fashion staple is an over sized necklace...A great pair of ripped jeans, a white t-shirt, a pair heels and an extravagant necklace and I'm set to go anywhere.
I studied Fashion Merchandising at Fanshawe and after graduating took Styling at George Brown. A few years later I ended up in New York City for a 6-month Jewelry Design Course.
I fell in love with the city and wanted the opportunity to go back. I landed a volunteer job working behind the scenes at New York Fashion Week dressing models in 7 shows, which was followed by a month long internship with Sean Connery’s Charity “Dressed to Kilt” as an Executive Assistant for a Celebrity Fashion Show.
Growing up I worked for my fathers clothing store chain and had my hand in everything from retail buying, visual merchandising, photo shoot production, creative direction, design & wardrobe styling. Over the years I learned a lot from him, but one of the things that really stuck was his "Dream big, go big or go home, idea after idea, & never give up attitude" which I always admired and aspired to be like.
