Dustin Smith

Dustin Smith is a Lead Industrial Designer at Shure Incorporated based in Chicago, Illinois. He has a Master of Science in Product Design and Development Management from Northwestern University and a BFA in Industrial Design from the College for Creative Studies. Prior to joining Shure, he was a part of the accessory design team at BlackBerry until 2012.

Dustin approaches industrial design from a holistic view point, always keeping the end user at the forefront of his creative process. Problem solving through industrial design is his main passion. He enjoys capturing the essence of a brand through aesthetics to communicate the ecosystem of its products. Collaborating across multiple disciplines through the design process allows him to maintain his core design values from concept to production.
