Owner/Designer/FabricatorFort Wayne, INOct 2020 - Jul 2022 (1 year 9 months)This is my personal indie furniture company!
Started with appropriating "telespar" - the stop sign perforated tube material, creating highly functional furniture. Since then it has evolved to aluminum and plastics. Creating minimally designed yet super functional furniture to inspire a simpler way of living in the home.
the black helmut vision: to create furniture that pushes against the zeitgeist whilst providing inimitable machined form and function with sustainable or 100% recyclable materials. -
Designer/FabricatorSan Diego, CAApr 2015 - May 2019 (4 years 1 month)Moniker Design specialized in both commercial and residential projects. I would walk the unfinished space then come together with our 2 other designers and draw the pieces. Later, I would then join the guys in the shop and glue and weld everything together!
