Creative Director
Greenville, IL
Jan 2013 - Jan 2015 (2 years)
I headed up the marketing for a publishing company that produced ag publications, predominantly magazines. I worked closely with the editor and client relations specialist to formulate effective marketing strategies and execute them accordingly. The projects I did covered a wide spectrum including social media strategy, implementing ads in target areas, running promotions, producing and editing fresh content for our youtube channel, and sending out monthly newsletters. This company had a staff of writers who I managed by sending deadlines, obtaining and proofreading stories, being easily accessible and giving direction when needed. My job also entailed handling their websites and social media platforms and conducting marketing research to target effective audiences. Our social media pages experienced extensive growth during my time there. I also designed three new websites for different branches of the company. Check them out at www.heritageiron.com, www.oliverheritage.com, and www.3pointink.com.

Harrah's St. Louis- Advertising Coordinator
Harrah's St. Louis
Maryland Heights, MO
Aug 2011 - Nov 2012 (1 year 3 months)
I coordinated most of the advertising projects that came in and out of the casino. I was responsible for the creation process, maintenance, updating, and strategic placement of our company signage. In addition to all of the external advertising (billboards, magazines, etc), my duties included all of the advertising on the casino floor, in the casino and banquet halls, and for the eight restaurants inside the building. Every piece of print material passed through my hands, from tickets to events, menus for the restaurants, flyers for every event on the property, to the large event posters in the walkways and the step and repeat banners for red carpet events. At any given time, there were an average of 300 posters up in the casino. In addition, I helped plan and execute social media growth strategies which generated extensive results. Also, I created and distributed the property's marketing emails, and kept their website updated with new events and promotions. I worked for Harrah's until the property was bought out by Penn National Gaming and turned into a Hollywood Casino. Black
