I am part of a small U.S. team that supports a merchandise vendor in India which manufactures 520+ items for Target and Lowe's currently ($50+ million in volume) in multiple home textile categories. Key roles: Preparing seasonal trend overviews and fabric and trim direction for all home textiles categories developed for overseas teams and retailers, art direction and product specifications to overseas designers, designing/developing seasonal product, creating relevant and white space print and pattern and conducting consumer and market oversights for key presentations throughout the year. Work closely with Target cross functional teams throughout process as accredited designer. Support most Home brands as well as external partnerships. Content creator for seasonal items I designed and developed droves sales of $10+ million in retail for 2018 and 2019 (Harvest and Holiday plaid collection for table linens and Seasonal icon pillows for Spring and Holiday).

Collaborated with signature designer Gene Meyer each season to contemporary and trend specific print and pattern. Researched WGSN, runway reports, Doneger and met with the trend team at Marshall Field's for validation. Traveled to New York to shop print shows and and the apparel market. Drafted technical silhouette sketches using Karat CAD and created full color silhouette boards and final print and pattern boards to present to merchants at final design reviews for each quarter. Devised directional print and pattern boards for design concept meetings to present to merchants and silhouette designers for Marshall Field's RTW, children's and some men's brands. Analyzed responses/challenges to further develop appropriate designs for final design meetings. Used in store benchmarks as well as trend research to validate artwork and create final print and pattern and silhouette boards. Anticipated and planned accordingly to have vendor ready artwork prepared to turn over to sourcing to meet timing and action deadlines for multiple brands. Actively showed leadership in technology research and workflow efficiency by participating in a cross-company task force with Target and Mervyn's, to maximize the company's "Power of One" strategy through the sharing of best practices.
