Manager, Art Production
Dallas, TX
May 2012 - Nov 2015 (3 years 6 months)
After 15 years managing in-house projects for advertising agencies, I moved into the key role as Art Buyer for Integer Dallas, a part of Omnicom through TBWA. Now as Manager of Art Production Services, producing visual concepts into reality for the agency is my forté. Collaborating with creative and account teams to produce art that gives a good ROI for the client, safeguards against any legal pitfalls with usage rights negotiations; and assuring delivery of assets under budget is what I work hard for every day. With a solid creative intuition based on my training as an artist, I can translate creative vision to both the vendors and the clients, confidently using a calm demeanor and a strong proactive awareness of timing in seemingly hectic situations, advocating for each person to shine in their own part of the collective process. I strive for results via elegant solutions and clean processes to produce great results. I've produced work for national clients in lifestyle, still life, and food photography; illustration and video productions including AT&T, FedEx, DFW Airport, Dr. Oetker, and Nutella, 7-Eleven, Slurpee, Bimbo and others. My motto is to consider my career my own company and work to maintain integrity, passion and creativity in all things.

Senior Project Manager
Dec 2005 - May 2012 (6 years 5 months)
Keeping internal projects on time, keeping team members positive and motivated to stay on-task, and creating jobs that fit the mandates are top priority when managing many national and local clients simultaneously. My specialty was being placed strategically within the agency to build practices for new clients, or manage ones with explosive growth. Therefore I was able to work with many clients building a solid rapport with great creative and account teams over the years. Building relationships with vendors and clients, knowledge of resources in the industry for best solutions, soaking up every bit of great experience with other creatives, account services, agency directors and management, corporate middle-managers; entrepreneurs, dreamers, workhorses, and business owners and executives, I've had countless experiences becoming more aware, efficient, proficient, and serene at doing a complex job that I love.

Project Manager
Blanks Printing, focus2, Neiman Marcus, CS Creative
Jan 1995 - Dec 2005 (10 years 11 months)
I've had opportunities afforded the many-hatted wearer in small and medium ad agencies in Dallas. The processes have evolved from early management of print-production such as slide selection and archival, press checks and print estimates; to now managing multi-platform implementation of content encompassing motion, social, print and new media for cohesive client needs. I've managed projects that led to in-store displays in grocery stores across Texas, retail stores across America, and onto consumers’ door handles and mail boxes. During my years working for small boutique agencies, branding for clients included all manner of implementation into markets including news and magazine advertising, direct mail, trade shows, web sites, web advertising, Facebook pages, micro sites, digital catalogs, packaging, brochures, ephemera and many instances of special events planning including hot-air balloon rides, face painting, trebuchet chair-throwing and pop-up Christmas portraits with Santa. Clients included id Software, Texas Instruments, Niven Morgan, Neiman Marcus,
Herman Miller, Northrop Grumman and Nambé, etc.
